Who We Are:
Here is a little about who we are. In the year 2011, our founder, Adam Margolis, started his journey down the path of creating the Visit US Parks initiative. He had a vision to create a resource that would make all state and national park resources available to everyone in a consistent manner. However, his journey started long before Visit US Parks was established.
Adam has been passionate for travel and exploration his entire life. As a child, he moved around from state to state with his family, exploring various regions of the world as a sort of yearly family tradition. This love for travel and exploration was instilled in him at a young age, and it stayed with him throughout his life.
As he grew older, Adam realized that not everyone had the same opportunities to explore and experience the beauty of the country’s state and national parks. He wanted to change this, and that’s why he decided to create Visit US Parks.
It was only natural for Visit US Parks to be established as the collective masterpiece of Adam’s four years of higher education. He has spent years researching and studying how to make state and national park resources more accessible to the public. He took all that knowledge and used it to create Visit US Parks.
It’s Adam’s love for travel and exploration that drives his mission to make all state and national park resources available to everyone, in a consistent and easy-to-use manner. With Visit US Parks, he hopes to inspire and empower others to explore the natural beauty of our country and create memories that will last a lifetime.
Our Values:
Our values represent the passionate explorers, adventurers, researchers, and naturalists of the world. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to explore and experience the beauty of state and national parks. Our values are a reflection of that belief, and they guide everything we do at Visit US Parks.
From the moment our founder, Adam Margolis, started his journey to create Visit US Parks, he was driven by a passion for travel and exploration. He believed that state and national parks are a treasure trove of natural beauty and history, and he wanted to make them more accessible to everyone. Our values are a reflection of that passion, and they are a testament to our commitment to making state and national parks more accessible to everyone.
Curiosity is free. At Visit US Parks, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to explore and experience the beauty of state and national parks. We strive to be an accessible resource for all people, regardless of their differences. We believe that everyone should have access to the information and tools they need to explore state and national parks, and we work hard to make that happen.
We understand that not everyone has the same opportunities to explore state and national parks. That’s why we make sure that our resources are accessible to everyone. We believe that everyone should have access to the information and tools they need to explore state and national parks, and we work hard to make that happen.
Protect Resources. At Visit US Parks, we believe that resources, both natural and human-made, should be preserved, not destroyed. The state and national parks that we promote, are a precious and fragile ecosystem, and it is our responsibility to ensure that they are treated with the respect and care they deserve. We understand the importance of protecting these resources and strive to ensure that our actions and the actions of our visitors align with this value.
We believe that it’s important to educate visitors about the importance of protecting resources and provide them with the tools and information they need to do so. From providing information about Leave No Trace principles, to promoting sustainable practices, we aim to make sure that our visitors are aware of the importance of protecting resources and take the necessary steps to do so. We believe that if we all do our part, we can preserve the natural and human-made resources of state and national parks for future generations to enjoy.
Consistency is key. At Visit US Parks, we believe that all parks should be treated with equal respect, as they all have unique features and offerings. We understand that each park has its own unique characteristics, whether it is a small local park or a well-known national park, and we strive to provide the same level of information and resources for all parks. We believe that this consistency is key to ensuring that all visitors have the best possible experience when they visit any park.
We work hard to ensure that all parks are treated with the same level of care and attention. We provide detailed information about each park, including information about the park’s history, natural features, recreational opportunities and more. We believe that by providing the same level of information and resources for all parks, we can help visitors have a more enjoyable and fulfilling experience when they visit any park. Furthermore, by treating all Parks with equal respect, we ensure that the less known Parks get the attention they deserve.
